Position Yourself

So, today my sons basketball team won the Championship! They played their hearts out against a team that had beaten them twice this season. The night before my son said to me “dad, I’m ready this time!” Well today he showed up and showed out. He played like he knew he was already a champion. Whats more important is that

he got his whole team involved, Everyone played their position. At the end of the game Christian was the MVP and even got the team ball. As awesome as that is, what’s more awesome is that “The Team” all got Championship trophies! How cool is that?!!! You see even tho he may have scored more points than anyone else, or had more assists than anyone else, he recognized that he has “a team”. As a leader, on the court, he knows the importance of encouraging the team to play their positions. He knows, and so do they, that he can do some things better than they can, but he also knows that without the team there can be no victory. Some of the kids did not score, but they won a championship and gained valuable experience at the same time.

Who do you know that’s a leader? Who do you know that has the heart of a champion? You want to be successful?!! Partner with a winner. NOT someone who thinks everything is about them, but someone who wants the best for the team. When you partner with someone like this you will become a winner with them. They will help you get in position and together you will win!
