Telling the truth is a good thing, but sometimes it can be challenging. Quite often I run into people who have trouble being honest with themselves, actually I was one of them. In general we like to talk about what we want and what we're going to have, but we often do so without taking into account where we are at that moment. Whether it's to impress others or an attempt to escape reality, it sometimes seems easier to live in our own imagination.
I'm a believer that we can have whatever we want, as long as we do what's necessary to obtain it. However, we first have to be honest about our current situation. I also believe we should focus more on where we want to be than we do on where we don't want to be. In order to do that we must acknowledge where we are first. This forces us to ask the question "How did I get here?" and "Why am I still here?" When we answer those questions, then we'll know what things we need to change. Some things we may need to eliminate, and others we may need to add. Once we face this truth, our current truth, then we can began to create a new reality. It all starts with being truthful.
