On my birthday, I made a personal decision to do whatever it takes for me to get to the place where I'm supposed to be. I was born to bring solutions to certain challenges
EVERYONE makes mistakes! It doesn't matter who you are, where you come from, or how perfect you may think you are. It's never a question of what happens "if" you make a mistake, but rather "when" you make a mistake. You see, none of us are perfect and I don't think we were ever intended to be. We are, and will always be a work in progress, until the day we leave this life.
Mistakes can have different results, depending on our approach to them. We
can apologize, ask forgiveness, and use them as a stepping stool to the next level, or we can allow the guilt of what we've done to imprison us. It's not always easy to ask for forgiveness, nor is it always easy to forgive. When our mistakes have caused others to be hurt we have to understand that it may take them a while to get to the place where they can truly forgive us. No matter how sincere we are in our apologies, sometimes the damage caused is deeper than we know.
As bad as you may feel about what you've done, you cannot allow yourself to be trapped by guilt. Even if a person you've wronged will not forgive you, there's NOTHING you can do to change their mind. The best thing you can do is move forward and allow the experience to make you a better person by learning from it and not repeating it.
